Tony Burrin teamed up with Maurice in 2000 to help develop the product side of the business, having spent over 20 years in the hospitality business, initially in wine bar, restaurant and event management and then as Head of Hospitality for the British Council in London. 

and what we do

From the initial base of the spittoon business, we now also manufacture other wine related accessories including stacking ice bucket stands, a brass version of the screwpull-type corkscrew, silver-plated and Sterling silver decanting funnels and retail and wine rack bottle tags.

Other products that we offer are almost entirely of European origin and include very high quality lever arm corkscrews and both stainless steel and aluminium ice buckets and spumantières. We also offer a very flexible personalised print service passing on the print costs purely at cost to us.

In addition, we run the UK’s only specialist stainless steel spittoon and  winetasting equipment hire service, servicing blue chip supermarket and wine trade customers across the UK.

We are now well known within the UK wine trade and believe that our high reputation is founded on the quality of our products, our flexible and friendly approach to customer service and the fact that we actually carry stock in our own warehouse ready for next day delivery.  We have a no minimum order policy and are happy to service orders from pallet loads to a couple of corkscrews - after all, from little acorns.......
